The winners of our last grocery draw (£10 vouchers) were Joshua and Jade. Jade is pictured here with Methodist Chaplain the Rev Dermot Thornberry, collecting her prize and Joshua’s as he was not available on the day. As it was the giving season we gave three vouchers this time and our third winner was Bronte, also pictured here. Congratulations to you all! I hope you’ve enjoyed spending them … Next draw: 4th February 2019 … watch out for us at Grand Parade! Winner will be posted here.

Followed by a light lunch of bread and cheese. There may be cake too!

[@Sussex] ecumenical mid-week  “Theology Cafe”

We meet weekly at Sussex University, on a Thursday morning for Theology Cafe where there’s a discussion on a theme set from the previous meeting, usually around faith or ethics. Currently at The Meeting House.

[@ Brighton] occasional meeting “Reflection”

We’ve started a drop-in discussion  group “Reflection” which meets in the coffee bar, Grand Parade. It’s an open, safe and respectful place to talk about areas of life which you may have found or are finding are being challenged at university – be that religion/faith, philosophy, ethics or anything else. Sometimes talking about something helps get it in proportion and seeing others’ perspective can be interesting and helpful.  Next meeting: 28 February 2019, 12.30 – 13.30 we’ll get the coffee!

Something we can help with?
